Greetings from the Goodtime State.
GTA 6’S

VICE CITY
COLLECTION.
SEPARATELY.
A little Leonida for your real life. But what does the collector’s box actually buy you—and what still belongs on a separate receipt?

VICE CITY COLLECTIONROCKSTAR GAMES / TAKE-TWO INTERACTIVE
Yes, the Vice City Collection is official. Its US-dollar listing is $399.99. No, that does not buy you GTA VI: Rockstar explicitly sells the game separately.[1]
That distinction matters more than the size of the box. The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection is a merchandise purchase built around Leonida’s fictional TV mascot, Macca the Gator. It is not another tier of the Standard or Ultimate game edition. You can want the objects without buying a console game, or buy the game without adding any of these objects to your order.
The timing gives this another moment in the spotlight. Rockstar’s Newswire lists the collector’s-box announcement on September 24 and a broader GTA VI store collection announcement on October 8. They are separate announcements; the October merchandise news did not suddenly put a game inside this box.[2]
Below, you can inspect the official images, unpack our 3D inventory, and work through the actual purchasing decision. This is a source-based guide, not a hands-on review. We have not handled the products, measured their finish or tested their durability.

Official image: Rockstar Games. Check the product listing ↗Count the entries, not just the objects.
Rockstar’s contents list has eleven entries, but several are sets. The pin tin contains nine pins; the sticker pack contains nine stickers. Calling this “eleven pieces” can obscure what is actually being counted. Our display separates the entries into objects, wearables and artwork to make the inventory easier to inspect; those groupings are editorial, not Rockstar’s packing order.[1]
The wearable pieces and branded collaborations may matter more to you than the mascot figure, or the reverse may be true. That is a reason to inspect the set item by item. It is not evidence that every item carries an equal share of the price.
What photographs cannot tell you.
A polished product image shows the design. It does not establish how a hinge feels, whether a finish scratches easily or how the sunglasses fit your face. We have not assigned invented standalone prices to each object to produce a “value” total. Check the store’s materials and measurement information against what you actually want to own.
The overall listing gives dimensions of 19 × 13.5 × 12.5 inches and labels the set an adult collectible for ages 18 and over. The 3D cabinet above explains the inventory; its drawer layout, object spacing and scale are not manufacturing specifications.[1]

WHAT YOU RECEIVE: OBJECTSStandard code-in-box
Rockstar’s physical Standard game release contains a download code, not a disc. This is a separate product.[3]
WHAT YOU RECEIVE: GAME ENTITLEMENTOriginal explanatory illustration, not retail packaging.“Physical” does not settle the question.
Read what the package includes. A physical merchandise box can contain no game; a physical game box can contain a download code rather than a disc. If you are shopping for somebody else, the large collector’s box does not, by itself, give them a way to start playing.
Rockstar’s support page identifies PS5 and Xbox Series X|S editions and says the physical release is the Standard edition. Ultimate is a separate digital game edition, not a synonym for this merchandise collection. Our GTA VI price and editions guide covers that comparison. For a boxed game purchase, use our preorder and code-redemption guide to check platform and account-region compatibility before redeeming.
A download code also means a download. The collectible poster says nothing about the game’s installation size. Keep that question with our storage and download-size coverage, rather than estimating disk space from the amount of merchandise in the parcel.

What the addition tells you.
Take-Two’s preorder announcement lists the game at $79.99 and Ultimate at $99.99. Adding either to the $399.99 collection gives a reference subtotal of $479.98 or $499.98 respectively, before shipping, taxes or other applicable charges. These are arithmetic combinations of separate purchases, not advertised bundle offers.[4]
If you already own a game preorder, choose “No game purchase here.” That sets the new game spend to zero; it does not mean that the merchandise has acquired a free game. Outside the US, use the actual local prices and currencies rather than treating these totals as converted regional quotes.
What still needs a checkout.
The collection is excluded from free shipping. Its FAQ says shipping charges appear at checkout and that duties or taxes may be imposed by local authorities outside the US and UK. Leaving those amounts unknown in the receipt is more honest than showing a final-looking total that silently assumes free delivery.[1]
Limited quantity is also not a resale valuation. Rockstar calls the set limited, but that alone does not tell you a production run, future restock date or future market price. Decide whether the contents are worth owning at your actual total; this article makes no investment or scarcity-based price forecast.

Collection ships
The merchandise FAQ says it is available to ship from November 19. Transit time depends on your shipping choice.[1]
The store’s wording is a shipping-start statement. It is not a promise that your parcel will arrive on November 19.
Before you plan a launch-night unboxing.
Keep your game order confirmation and merchandise order confirmation separate. Rockstar says a shipping confirmation includes a tracking link when the merchandise ships. Until you have an order-specific delivery estimate, avoid building a gift or launch-night plan around a date that only describes dispatch availability.
Before you assume it ships to you.
The product FAQ lists specific destinations, including the US, UK, Canada and a set of European countries. It is not worldwide shipping. It also specifies one purchase per person and requires a Rockstar Store login. Check the current destination list on the official product page; a price visible in a search result does not establish availability for your address.[1]
The map belongs
on the wall first.
An official map is listed as part of the souvenir poster. That is different from having a playable or measurable game world.

Look closely. Infer carefully.
The poster is an especially interesting piece for a game built around a place. Rockstar describes illustrated Macca the Gator characters on the front and a map of Leonida on the back. The product photograph shown here is useful for inspecting the artwork, but does not expose a readable, flat map from which we can verify roads, scale or traversal times.[1]
That leaves a clear boundary. A souvenir listing can confirm that a map is included. It cannot, on its own, tell us every enterable building, the number of activities or how long a drive takes in the finished game. We have not drawn invented roads over the image or filled unseen areas with guesses.
For the places Rockstar has actually introduced, continue to our Vice City and Leonida guide. For the people at the center of the story, our Jason and Lucia introduction separates the protagonists from the fictional brands and mascots on the merchandise.
There is an appealing idea here: a piece of the game’s fictional consumer culture sitting on your real desk. Whether that is worth the price is personal. The factual question—what comes with your order—should be settled before the emotional one.
